About Us
Based in Galway, Brú Theatre makes live performance that blends contemporary theatre forms with the languages, landscapes and literatures of where we are from. Founded in 2018 by Artistic Director James Riordan and Producer Jill Murray, we produce bilingual, multi-disciplinary work that tours at home and abroad.

Páidín Mháire is an Irish language theatre piece inspired by Padraic Ó Conaire’s short story of the same name.
A work in progress of the piece was presented as part of Tonnta Festival at An Taibhdhearc in Jan 2025. Supported by Galway Theatre Festival, Creative Ireland and Gaillimh Le Gaeilge
